Have you ever been sucked into the time vortex that TikTok can be watching lip-sync videos of your favorite songs or cute little animals or the latest viral trend? This would be the perfect thing to do on a long flight, and indeed passengers on American Airlines flights will now be able to have access to their TikTok app from their phone while in flight and for free.
The airline will give its passengers access to the video sharing app directly on their phone for free for 30 minutes. Passenger must activate airplane mode on their device and select the designated network, once connected they will be redirected to a Wi-Fi portal which will give them access to TikTok. Passengers who do not have the appl will be able to download it.
American Airlines last year offered a similar service by providing access to Facebook messaging during flights. Note that they are not the only ones offering in flight messaging services Southwest and Delta Airlines do as well.
